Mansfield Sand Company is a leading provider of cost effective sand based surfaces to major sporting venues across the UK.
We produce the Mansil range of washed and classified silica sands that are used in the construction and maintenance of a wide range of sports surfaces – from winter sports pitches, golf courses and bowling greens to cricket pitches and amenity turf areas. In addition, our special products division, Fibresand UK, produces a comprehensive range of rootzones and top dressings as well as the Fibresand range of fibre reinforced sands and fibre reinforced rootzones. Our extensive client portfolio includes some of the most prestigious sporting venues in the UK, such as Wembley Stadium , Lords Cricket Ground, Old Trafford, Wimbledon, the Millennium Stadium and Twickenham. The company operates a main physical testing laboratory at its Sandhurst Avenue Head Office in addition to a quarry laboratory at its Ratcher Hill Production site, ensuring regular testing of all products and a comprehensive technical back up service to all customers. Since 1990, all products have been produced under a Quality Management System approved and audited every six months by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and currently registered to BSEN ISO 9001:2000.
