Mansfield Sand Company, via its special products division, Fibresand UK, is a leading provider of sand based products to the landscaping sector.

The product range extends from the more basic Sherwood Topsoil and Turf Bedding Soil through to the more specialised Heicom Tree Sand and the unique Fibreturf range of fibre reinforced rootzones.

All products are based on blends of various grades of silica sand and PAS100 accredited green compost - the type and amount of each constituent appropriate to the intended end use.

Fibresand UK operates a main physical testing laboratory at its Sandhurst Avenue Head Office site in addition to a quarry laboratory at its Ratcher Hill production site, both in Mansfield, ensuring regular testing of all products and a comprehensive technical back up service.

Since 1990, all products have been produced under a Quality Management System approved and audited every six months by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance and currently registered to BSEN ISO 9001:2000.
